Pedestrian robbed by man with knife

Posted on November 20th, 2009 No Comments

A man was robbed and stabbed near Second street last month. According to police reports, the robber jumped out of some bushes, knocked the man to the ground, and brandished a knife.

Robberies occur every day. While not all of them can be avoided, pedestrians should take certain precautions. These include walking in groups, traveling only during the day time, and staying away from non-public places.

If you or anyone you know have been accused of armed robbery, contact the Champaign criminal defense lawyers of Thomas A. Bruno & Associates at 217-328-6000.
