Champaign and University of Illinois police departments are preparing for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. According to a police statement, the police departments are coordinating with city officials to potentially cut down on disruptive behavior.

The city will attempt to limit the partying by not allowing package liquor stores to open before 11 a.m. Campus police also plan on limiting the amount of drinking that students attempt to do in class.

If you or anyone you know has been arrested for an alcohol-related crime, contact the Champaign criminal defense attorneys of Thomas A. Bruno & Associates at 217-328-6000.
