Two men were arrested Monday for allegedly using a handgun to hit a woman on the head in a McDonald’s at 501 N. Mattis Ave.

Kevin Hemingway and Charlie Vogel of Urbana are being held in custody for the attack. Police believe that one of the men hit the woman, who was an employee leaving the restaurant when the attack took place.

When she was attacked, the employee was carrying a bank deposit bag, which the other suspect grabbed from the woman.
