Two PA workers injured in fireworks accident

Posted on August 30th, 2010 No Comments

Last Friday evening, two Pennsylvania workers were injured while putting on a fireworks display after a minor league baseball game in Moosic, Pennsylvania, just outside of Scranton.  The workers are employed by a pyrotechnics company used at the PNC Field stadium to create post-game fireworks shows.

Authorities did not release the workers’ names or injuries, however a family member of one of the workers injured in the accident told reporters that they were in stable condition.  A team of investigators led by a Pennsylvania state fire marshal are looking into the incident to determine what caused the accident that injured two workers.
