Three injured in car accident in Danville
Three people were injured last Thursday in a two-vehicle car accident in Danville. The accident occurred just after 10 A.M. when a 1988 Ford Crown Victoria traveling southbound on Gilbert Street made a left turn onto East Main Street. While turning, the vehicle, driven by 67-year old Marjorie Bryant, was struck by a 1995 Ford Bronco driven by 44-year old David Murdock.
A passenger in Bryant’s vehicle, 47-year old Barbara McNeil, had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency fire personnel. McNeil was taken to the Carle Hospital in Urbana in an emergency medical helicopter. A passenger in Murdock’s vehicle, Kimberly Murdock, and Bryant were taken in ambulences to nearby hospitals with unspecified injuries. Police are still investigating the accident to determine who is at fault.
