According to Illinois State Police, Lynwood Village clerk Roel Valle, 64, has been charged with reckless driving, reckless homicide and driving under the influence after being involved in a fatal car accident earlier this month.  The accident occurred on Highway 394 on February 4th when his vehicle struck another vehicle driven by 27-year old Angelina Jones.

Valle struck Jones’s car after somehow veering from the northbound lanes of the highway into oncoming traffic in the southbound lanes.  A passenger in Jonse’s vehicle, 32-year old Melikah Little, was killed in the accident.  Jones is also facing charges of driving under the influence for the accident.  Little’s family is pursing the charges against Valle.
