Randy Ramey, former Illinois State Representative and DuPage County GOP chairman, recently plead guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge. Ramey received a drunk driving citation in August after being pulled over for improper lane usage.

Police pulled Ramey over after witnessing him crossing over the center lane. The former state representative took a breathalyzer test at the time of his arrest. Test results showed Ramey had a blood alcohol content of .17 percent.

With the guilty plea, Ramey was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and must pay a $1,750 fine. In addition, Ramey will attend a victim impact panel and will be on probation for 1 year.
