Lynnette McIntyre, 45, of Champaign, was conditionally sentenced to two years probation for having sex with a teenage boy she was tutoring.

McIntyre pleaded guilty to committing a sex act with a 17 year old boy in her apartment at the 2400 block of North Neil Street. The boys parents found sexually explicit text messages on his phone and revealed the incident.

McIntyre will register as a sex offender and undergo a sex offender evaluation. If the judge rejects the plea agreement set by her attorneys on Feb 6, then McIntyre could be sentenced to a felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
