Thirty-seven-year-old Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is facing five criminal charges – one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism – for allegedly attacking an ex-girlfriend and causing damage to her home during an argument in Los Angeles on June 23. He was not arrested for said charges, according to report from CNN, until July 3.

According to 50 Cent’s lawyer, their party has gotten in touch with the L.A. City Attorney’s Office and has been looking into the allegations brought against the rapper. He refused to make further comments on behalf of 50 Cent.

50 Cent allegedly ransacked his ex’s house, breaking chandeliers and going through things in her bedroom, costing an estimated $7,100 worth of damage.
