Urbana jury finds defendant not guilty for gun charges

Thursday, February 6, a Champaign County jury acquitted 28-year-old Andre Winters of two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Winters was accused of shooting at 43-year-old Ernest Moseley on Oct. 12, 2013 in east Urbana.

Plaintiff Ernest Mosley, 43, claimed that Winters tried to shoot him after a brief altercation.
